Compared to other activities and martial arts, aikido is extremely inexpensive.
Your suit and equipment will last you years.
The costs can be broken down as follows:
Insurance at £4.00 a year is available through the British Aikido Board.

You pay for four sessions initially and get the fifth session free.
After that
its ONLY £3.50 per session
(£2.50 concessions INCLUDING STUDENTS!!).
And that's for two hours!
Membership to Lancashire Aikikai
Membership to Lancashire Aikikai is £12 per year (£6 for concessions).
Once
you've got the bug and have been a few times you might want to buy you own kit.
Remember, you don't have to buy it all at once.
The following equipment may be purchased through the club:
You're
not allowed to carry your weapons around the streets, so you'll need
a bag.

Grading fees are are not kept by the Instructors or Club, but are sent to the
